Dialog Axiata, announced its partnership with Sampath Bank to introduce the revolutionary eZ Banking service, as an extension of the company’s eZ Cash platform, Sri Lanka’s largest mobile money network, facilitating a more convenient banking experience and accessible to customers.
Sampath Bank customers can now seamlessly and conveniently deposit and withdraw money from their bank accounts at these eZ Banking retailers without having to visit an ATM or bank branch.
Additionally, customers will not be restricted to bank opening hours when making their transactions, as most eZ Banking retailers are open for transactions beyond traditional bank opening hours.
eZ Banking will initially be available at select retailers in Western Province and will soon be expanded to retailers across the island.

Not everyone in Sri Lanka lives within walking distance of a bank or ATM, and not everyone can be sure of getting there during normal branch opening hours. With eZ banking, you get extended opening hours and the ability to bank in many more places with cash at your fingertips, even during holidays. It’s a double benefit. Given the transportation challenges we all face these days, I think this is a very welcome development.
