After debuting late last year, Rocket League Sideswipe, the mobile port of the hit PC/console game, is gearing up for Season 2. The next update will bring more ways to play Rocket League Sideswipe, including a special Volleyball mode.

Rocket League Sideswipe Season 2 premieres February 2 at 8:00 AM PST. The update will offer rewards to players who participated in Season 1 based on their ranking, and it will also reset the rankings for the new season. Casual playlists are also coming to the game, in addition to the competitive playlists that were available until now. This feature is already available to players before the start of the new season.

A new volleyball mode is also available in Rocket League Sideswipe. This is the first time Rocket League has added an official volleyball mode, something that has been popular as a fan-made mode on PC.

Hoops are out and volleyball is back for Season 2! This high-flying 2v2 mode features a center net, a new ball, and NO GOAL?!? You’ll score points when the ball hits the ground, allowing you to perform powerful spikes and last-second saves. Additional modes will rotate each season, so don’t miss them!

Rocket League Sideswipe is available for free on Android and iOS.
