WhatsApp multi-device 2.0 will allow people to link an additional mobile phone or tablet (WhatsApp for iPad/Android tablet) to the same WhatsApp account in the future, WABetaInfo wrote on its Twitter page. If true, it will help people to use WhatsApp through an additional phone or pad without engaging the primary number. This will reduce the chaos of having multiple SIM cards for different WhatsApp connections.
This is a future update that may or may not come. The final update could be entirely different from what is predicted here. The Meta-owned instant messaging app continues to update app features to facilitate chat and other processes in between.
Currently, you can use WhatsApp in a single phone or tab or you can associate a web device with it. The additional mobile or pad linking both iOS and Android will save time and effort for WhatsApp users. Whenever you change your phone and install WhatsApp, a six-digit code is generated and sent only to the registered phone number for data synchronization and chat history. This may not be necessary with the 2.0 Multi-Device Update.
